Cause: Whitehall Mansion

Background Information: The historic Whitehall Mansion was built in 1910 by Mrs. Olive White who was a philanthropist and advocate for the homeless. For over 50 years, the mansion was a haven for homeless children who lived there as dependents of the State of Nebraska. No longer a home for children, The Friends of Whitehall Mansion, a non-profit organization, hosts an open house every December for former residents, staff, and community members to tour the mansion and see the beautiful decorations.
