Parent Resources

The TeamMates Mentoring Program serves students in grades 3-12 who would benefit from having an additional caring adult in their lives. Students are referred to as mentees. TeamMates mentors are asked to spend a class period (approximately an hour) once a week, during the school year at the student’s school talking and listening to their mentees while acting as a positive role model. Mentors are asked to remain a mentor of their mentee for at least three years. While they might help with homework or assignments if asked by their mentee, TeamMates mentors are not asked to tutor mentees. For more specific information about Lincoln TeamMates, please refer to our Parent Guide.
