Community Service Project- January 2020

Cause: Lincoln City Libraries

Background Information: The three core values of Lincoln City Libraries are learning, literacy, and literature. The eight libraries in Lincoln are all committed to helping children be successful in school and have started a “15 Minutes a Day” program. This program encourages people to read aloud for 15 minutes a day to young children. When people read aloud, they are learning language, instilling a love of reading, and developing their brains.

Help make reading fun by creating these character bookmarks and set a goal to read aloud to a younger family member or peer this month!
