Fall Kickoff 2019
This year’s Fall Kickoff was held at Moore Middle School, featured a taco bar, and a mentee panel, along with a choice of excellent breakout sessions.
Mentor Recognition
Members of the Extra Mile Club and 24 or More Club were also recognized this year. In 2018-2019, 544 mentors became a member of the 24 or More Club, meaning they met with their mentees 24 or more times during the school year. Research shows that this number truly impacts the level of academic success and feeling of hopefulness in a mentee. Breakout Sessions
Five breakout sessions were offered at this year’s Fall Kickoff event. These breakout sessions helped show why mentoring matters, enhanced mentoring relationships, and gave mentors tools to use for the upcoming school year.
