Delivering Cheer with Centerpointe

CenterPointe is a local nonprofit healthcare provider that offers mental health and substance use treatment, primary care services, crisis response, street outreach, housing, and more. The Street Outreach Team at Centerpointe assists those in our community experiencing homelessness. This team identifies unhoused people, helps them meet basic needs, and can help get people to the services they need. They are often found around town giving away most needed items, such as food, water, tents, hygiene items, and socks. Last year, this team connected with nearly 500 unhoused people.

To help aid the CenterPointe Street Outreach Team, TeamMates mentors and mentees decorated canvas bags and donated toiletry items to fill the bags. Over 200 bags were made and will be given out to unhoused people in Lincoln. Even more amazing, these bags were decorated with messages of hope and kindness to spread a little more joy in our community.
