TeamMates “Marks” the Start of Summer!

Lincoln TeamMates mentors and mentees are kicking summer into gear by encouraging others to read. Throughout the month of April, matches made monster bookmarks for youth and adults to have while they complete their summer reading lists at the Lincoln City Libraries.

Over 400 monster bookmarks were made and will be available at all the Lincoln Libraries starting this month.

The Lincoln City Libraries have been hosting a Summer Reading Program for over 85 years. Each youth and adult that sign up for the program can get a fun bookmark, a reading guide, as well as tickets and passes to things in our community – pool pass, baseball tickets, and more.

Once the reading challenge has been completed, participants can then earn additional prizes from partners in the Lincoln community. Check out more of the programs and events happening this summer below and be sure to sign up for the Summer Reading Program on May 24th!
