Helpful Tips and District Protocols for Helping a TeamMate Who is Experiencing Trauma

School Social Workers, Angie Battles and Carrie Erks, will help mentors differentiate between child abuse and neglect and other non-abusive forms of trauma, both of which a large number of TeamMates might be experiencing. District protocol for responding to and reporting child abuse and neglect will be reviewed as well as strategies for how mentors can appropriately offer empathy and support to their TeamMates during stressful and traumatic times. There will be time at the end for questions and discussion.
