Zetangle

Supplies Needed:

• Cardstock paper
• Pencil
• Ink pen

Instructions:

1. Cut your cardstock paper into a 3.5″ square.
2. Using pencil, put a light dot in each corner, about a pen’s width from the edges.
3. Connect these dots with a straight or curvy line to create a square. This is your border.
4. Inside the border, draw a pencil line from one corner dot to the other. This is called your string. The string separates your paper into sections in which you draw your tangles. A “tangle” is a sequence of pen strokes that make a pattern.
5. Using your pen, draw your tangles within your border and string.
6. Add shades of gray with your pencil to bring dimension to your tile.
7. Be sure to sign your work of art!
