Tie Dye Baby Wipe Butterfly

You can make a bright butterfly with just baby wipes and markers!

Supplies Needed:

  • Baby Wipes
  • Washable markers or Watercolor paint
  • Rubber bands
  • Clothespin
  • Paper towels
  • Googly eyes (optional)
  • Pipe cleaners (optional)

Instructions:

Step 1:  Pinch the center of a wet baby wipe and twist.

Step 2:  Wrap 3 rubber bands around the baby wipe in different sections.

Step 3:  Using markers or paint, color the different sections of the baby wipe. The more the color gets into the folds, the more vibrant it will be!

Step 4:  Carefully remove the rubber bands and untwist the baby wipe. Lay the baby wipe on paper towels until completely dry.

Step 5:  While the baby wipe is drying, draw a face on the clothespin or attach googly eyes and pipe cleaners as antennae.

Step 6:  Pinch the center of the baby wipe and secure it with the clothespin.
