No Sew Fleece Scarf

This stylish scarf will keep you warm during the cold winter months!

Supplies Needed:

  • Strip of fleece – 8″ x 50″
  • Yarn
  • Scissors or rotary cutter
  • Cutting Mat (optional)
  • Ruler
  • Pen or fabric marker

Instructions:

Step 1:  Lay the fleece on the cutting mat and using the ruler, measure the length and width of your scarf, using the marker or pen to mark the fabric. Cut the fleece with the rotary cutter or scissors, using the ruler and the marks as a guide.

Step 2: Fold the ends about 1/2” and make tiny snips on the fold, about 1/4” apart. Be very careful not to cut too big of slits!

Step 3:  Cut the yarn the desired length (depending on how long you want your fringe to be). The fringe on this scarf is 10″.

Step 4:  Take 2 threads of yarn and fold them in half, then pull the loop end through the first snip on the scarf.

Step 5:  Take the end of the yarn and pull through the little loop you just created. Gently pull until the yarn forms a tight knot.

Step 6:  Continue until all the slits have yarn through them on both ends of the scarf.
