King’s Corner

Supplies Needed:

  • Deck of Cards

Instructions:

  1. Each player is dealt 7 cards. The remaining cards are placed face down in the center of the table. This is now the draw pile.
  2. The dealer draws 4 cards and places the cards face up around the draw pile.

  3. If a King card is drawn, place the card face up between the cards. You are placing the King in the corner.

  4. The dealer’s TeamMate plays first.
  5. Players can place the next lowest card of alternate suit on the face up cards. For example, if a Red 6 (hearts or diamonds) is face up, a player can place a Black 5 (spades, clubs) on it.

  6. Players can lay cards from their hands on the piles and/or move one pile to another pile on the table.
  7. Play continues until a player has no moves left. They then have to let their TeamMate know that their turn is over.
  8. After their TeamMate finishes their turn, all players draw one card from the center draw pile.
  9. The game continues until one player gets rid of all the cards in their hand.
