Holiday Ornament

Celebrate the holidays with your mentee by making these beautiful ornaments together!

Supplies Needed:

  • Cardboard
  • Scissors
  • Crochet thread
  • Ruler
  • Protractor (optional)

Instructions:

Step 1:  Cut the cardboard into a circle. Use a template or a protractor to help you draw

Step 2:  Cut slits around the circle about ¼” apart and down.

Step 3:  Insert your thread in between the slits of the cardboard.

Step 4:  Continue wrapping the thread around the cardboard to make your own unique design. Feel free to add in more colors!

Step 5:  When you’re done, tuck your loose end under your design.

Step 6:  With a new piece of thread, tuck into one side of your design point and tie at the top.
