Build a Vehicle

Supplies Needed:

• 1 balloon (9 inch or smaller)
• 2 flexible straws
• 1 wooden craft stick
• 2 candy mints (with a hole in the middle)
• 2 feet of duct tape
• 1 rubber band

Instructions:

1. Design and develop a vehicle that can travel 3 feet using the materials above.  The vehicle must travel without you using a finger to push it.

1. What was the biggest challenge in this project?  What was the easiest part?
2. When you have something difficult come up in your life, how do you work through it?
3. Would you like a career in science, math, or technology?  What would you do?
