Kids of all ages and even adults will enjoy making and playing with this easy slime recipe!

Supplies Needed:  1 bottle of Elmer’s glue, 1/2 tsp borax, 1 cup hot water, 1/2 cup water, 2 bowls, spoon or whisk, small storage container

Optional Supplies:  Food coloring, glitter

Instructions:

Step 1:  In a large bowl, dissolve 1/2 tsp borax in 1 cup hot water.

Step 2:  In a separate bowl, mix 1 bottle of Elmer’s glue with 1/2 cup water.

Step 3:  Add food coloring and/or glitter to the glue mixture (optional)

Step 4:  Pour the glue mixture into the bowl with the water and borax. The glue mixture will start to polymerize.

Step 5:  Start squishing the slime so it absorbs as much as the borax and water as possible. Continue squishing for 2 – 3  minutes.

Step 6:  When the slime is no longer sticky, remove it from the bowl and continue to knead it.

Step 7:  Enjoy your slime!

Notes:

If your slime is too sticky, try putting it back in the bowl to add more water.

If your slime is too stretchy, dissolve additional 1/4 tsp borax in water, add your slime and squish more.

Store slime in a bag or airtight container.
