TeamMates Warm Up Lincoln

TeamMates mentors and mentees spent January making fleece scarves to help warm up the homeless and near-homeless in Lincoln.

Pastor Tom, with People’s City Mission, accepts donation of fleece scarves.

Topping their goal of 120 scarves with a final tally of nearly 150, The Program’s mentors and mentees went above and beyond to warm up Lincoln.

There are a number of organizations working together to end homelessness in Lincoln by providing basic needs. The Lincoln TeamMates Program donated the scarves to the following agencies to aid in their goal to support the homeless and near-homeless in Lincoln.

Staff and volunteers from these agencies will ensure their clients in need receive the scarves.

Thank you to all the mentors and mentees who worked to lend some warmth to those in need in our community. Learn more about our February community service project for the Lincoln Police Department.
