Tic Tac Toe inside Tic Tac Toe

Supplies Needed:

  • Paper
  • Pencil or Pen
  • Your Brain!

Instructions:

  1. Draw a large Tic Tac Toe board. Inside each square of the large Tic Tac Toe board, draw small Tic Tac Toe boards.
  2. Player A can choose any square in any of the small Tic Tac Toe Boards. Player A draws their mark, O, in the square.
  3. Player B follows Player A’s square to the same square in the main large Tic Tac Toe Board and puts their X anywhere in that smaller Tic Tac Toe board.
  4. Player A does the same- go to the same square that Player B marked in the larger square and draws their mark, O.
  5. Continue playing this way. When a player gets a Tic Tac Toe in a little Tic Tac Toe board, they mark that big square with their X or O.
  6. If a player goes to a square that is already filled, then they can choose any square in any of the little Tic Tac Toe boards.
  7. Keep playing until one player gets a Tic Tac Toe in the big board or all of the squares in the bog board are filled (Cat).
