Salt Dough Starfish

Supplies Needed:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups salt
  • 1 cup water
  • Mixing bowl
  • Spoon
  • PERMISSION from your school facilitator

Instructions:

  1. Mix all the ingredients together until thoroughly combined.
  2. Knead the dough for a few minutes until it’s soft.
  3. Start with a ball of dough and form the arms of the starfish. Try to make them as equal as possible.
  4. Now pinch each arm and shape it to look like the point of a star.
  5. Customize your starfish! You can see some ideas below, or just get creative.
  6. Let the dough harden for a few days, and return next week to see your finished creation!
