Pipecleaner Animals

Supplies Needed:

  • Pipe cleaners
  • Hot glue
  • Googly eyes (optional)
  • Pom pom ball (if making pig)

Instructions for TURTLE:

  1. Coil a brown pipe cleaner into a circle. Bend the circle a bit so the the center of the circle is raised. This is your shell.
  2. Shape the head, legs, and tail with green pipe cleaner.
  3. Turn your “shell” upside down and glue the remaining pieces in their place.
  4. Coil an additional brown pipe cleaner into a circle and glue to the bottom of your turtle to complete the “shell”.
  5. OPTIONAL: add your googly eyes.

 

Instructions for PIG:

  1. Make the body of the pig by wrapping pink pipe cleaner around a large pom pom ball. This will take about three pipe cleaners.
  2. Coil pink pipe cleaners into circles to make the head and snout.
  3. Shape the ears, legs, and curly tail with pink pipe cleaners.
  4. Hot glue all the pieces together!
  5. OPTIONAL: add your googly eyes.

 

 

Instructions for the DOG:

  1. Make the body by coiling three pipe cleaners together.
  2. Coil another pipe cleaner into a circle to make the head.
  3. Shape the legs, tail, and ears.
  4. Hot glue all the pieces together!
  5. OPTIONAL: add your googly eyes.
