Supplies needed: 

  • fleece
  • tennis ball
  • scissors

Instructions: 

Step 1. Lay a piece of 18×18 fleece flat and cutout a rectangle 6×6 inches from each corner.

Step 2. Cut six 6 inch strips that are about 1 inch wide all the way around.

Step 3. Place the tennis ball into the center of the fleece and gather it up tightly.

Step 4. Use a scrap piece of fleece to tie a knot around it as tightly as possible.

Step 5. Use 6 strips at a time to make 4 total braids. Tie a knot at the end of each braid.
