Supplies Needed:

  • Cardstock paper
  • Scissors
  • Markers/pens
  • Your imagination!

Instructions:

1. Fold your paper in half the long way, like a hot dog.  

2. Then open the paper and fold it the short way, like a hamburger.

3. With the creases facing upwards, and the paper laying horizontally, take one edge of paper, flip the edge back to meet the centerfold, and crease. Repeat on the other side.

4. Tighten your folds so your paper looks like a “W” when placed on the table.

5. Fold your paper the short way, like a hamburger, again.

6. Starting at the fold on the side of the paper, cut until you hit the middle crease line.

7. Unfold your paper, then re-fold it in the long way.

8. Grab the sides of the paper on either side of the cut, and push them together.

9. Fold the sections together so you make a book with four pages.

10. Fill the pages with your creative words and drawings!
