Tissue Paper Flowers

Create these flowers to brighten someone’s day or for year-long decorations!

Supplies Needed:

  • Tissue Paper
  • String, pipe cleaner, or floral stem
  • Ruler
  • Scissors

Instructions:

Step 1:  Measure and cut tissue paper into 6″ x 10″ pieces.

Step 2:  Stack and fold 5 pieces of tissue paper together accordion-style.

Step 3:  Wrap string, pipe cleaner, or floral stem, etc. around the center of the folded tissue paper.

Step 4:  Round both ends with scissors for more realistic petals.

Step 5:  Separate and spread each petal layer.

Step 6:  Pull each petal layer towards the center of the flower one at a time.
